Bethlehem, Pa – Due to a couple of last-minute withdrawals, the 4×2 had to be scrapped which gave the two remaining guys opportunities in the dashes. Dave Yang’s PR (7.60) in the prelims got him into the finals but was unable to sneak in for a medal. Mike Sun got a shot at the 200 open resulting in 27.70.
The 400 saw Chase Bethea and Rowan Aten square off in the same heat with Chase taking the lead from the gun and the heat win (3rd place over-all). His 53.69 is an indoor PR and Rowan’s 55.20 was better than his 4×4 split from last week.
Our first try at the Distance Medley resulted in 5th place hardware. Linville’s lead-off 1200 put us in the mix, our middle legs both had season bests as did Alex Schultz anchoring with his season best 1600. (Linville 3:36.26, Josh Kochens 59.9, Mike Lambright 2:28.4, Schultz 4:54.27).
