As the season winds down, the competition heats up. Time to better those State marks or make a last ditch effort to get to States. At this point, we’ve shown all we have so this meet was a ‘sharpen-up’. To focus on other things, Shamere Dunswell (4×2) and Rahsheed Wright (4×2, 400, 4×4) both skipped the 60 and 200, Cam Christopher (800, 4×4) and Ben Hoyer (Mile) let others get some 4×8 and DMR experience. Ahmir Johnson skipped the hurdles to focus on his jumps.
Quality marks had to include Rahsheed’s come-from-way-back 49.8 anchor leg, Cam’s 1:59.51 800, Max Davies’ 52.54 PR, Bryce Miles’ 2:05 4×8 leg (PR by 8 sec.) and Matt Maiale’s 9:29.4 3000. Also, the 4×2 team improved slightly from last week, showing no drop in performance with Matt Selvarian (23.2s) subbing for Max.
