Missing Persons Report: Darien Williams – hip, Shamere Dunswell – back, Ethan Dolberry-Wescott – college visit, Andy Harman – robotics, Ben Hoyer – family matters. Potential missing: Ahmir Johnson bruised his heel during the TJ, but should be back for MOC on 2/21.

With three of the four 4×2 legs missing, obviously THAT wasn’t going to happen. With Darien and Ethan out, neither was the 4×4 (still not state-qualified). We’re running out of meets quickly with just the Last Chance and the Meet of Champs left. Darien still hasn’t made states in his specialty, the 200, due to a series of on-again-off-again nagging injuries.

Some positives: Cam Christopher set an indoor PR 2:01.59 taking a second at 800, just missing the SQS of 2:00.73. Lukas Marselis continues to shake off the ‘mono cooties’ with an indoor PR of his own posting 4:38.62 for the mile qualifying for the MOC in the process.

Yondell Dudley won another shot put competition but since his 53-4 at Glen Mills a few weeks ago, seems stuck in the 50-51 range. 53-11 would not only get him the school indoor record, but also into the Penn Relays!
